The Underwear Affair: Because Ritual Humiliation is a great way to fight cancer.

Recap for those not in the know... and for people who have me on their LJ, but don't read my website!

Last year, I walked 5k around Vancouver in my underwear and raised $735 to help fight cancers below the waist — you know, the embarrassing ones that nobody wants to talk about.

This year… well, I’m still hoping to run the 10k. But … I’m not quite there yet, and the run is only a month away, so I may have to wimp out last minute and walk it, but by golly I’m going to try! Turns out, this running thing is actually fun, when I manage to get off my ass and do it. Who knew?

Regardless, whether I walk or run… I still want to raise as much money as possible. As of last count, I’m up to $625, which is fantastic! But of course, I want more! My goal is $1000. I’m more than halfway there. Will you help me get the rest of the way?

The run is on July 12th. Donate today!

http://va08.uncoverthecure.org/goto/donna

Thanks for your help!

So you want to cure cancer...

Good news! Now you can.

I’ve joined Team Thunder Panties in the BC Cancer Foundation’s Underwear Affair - a 5K walk / 10k run to uncover cures for cancers below the waist. I have to wander around Vancouver in my underwear to cure cancer. All YOU have to do is donate some money! Who’s got the better deal here? Well, let’s just say that I could be up for a really uncomfortable sunburn…

They don’t let me in unless I can raise some cash — no wonder, I wouldn’t let me in without some sort of payment either. Wanna make a donation to curing cancers below the waist?

Visit my donation page!

All donations are tax deductible, and donations of over $10 will receive a receipt in the mail. And yes, there will be pictures.

(I know I never post here. And I probably won't again. But! Must cast donation net as wide as possible. Thank you all for reading!)

ooh. Apparently paid accounts can have my regular website on their livejournal friends page by adding mrsnotnesbitt to their friends list. Cool.
